DAY 1: Writing Workshop with Jeannie

Hello Babaes!

I wanted to say really great and inspirational work this Friday. Let's keep the creativity and momentum going and get this blog started.

The purpose for this blog is to have a receptacle for the work you will be generating these next few weeks and a forum to give each other constructive feedback.

How to get started:
1) Sign in as a member so you can upload posts, images, videos throughout the week.

2)And by every Friday make sure you either submit something and/or make at least 3 comments on a colleague's work. If you don't get a comment, don't take it personally, it just means we couldn't get to your work, and if you specifically need us to look at your piece, ask us directly.

As kickass organizers you know the amount of work and pre-planning it takes to pull off a successful event. So the more we invest into this production now the more we can truly shine when it comes to our November performance.

One last thing, remember what Jeannie said, try not to edit yourself, you all have a story to tell.

    I look forward to any of the work that you post here. And as Lorna says, patience, please, particularly for my feedback. I will get to it as soon as I can after you post. Note: Less is More; so submit EVERYTHING --as you saw during the session, everyone premised their readings (and really had good, applicable work in the end.) Trust your instincts; bounce off each other; ask similar questions like I asked that evening. Keep it all going: the momentum, support, drive and PASSION for writing what you need to express.
